So I’ve been training for about 3 years now, and I’ve never really taken my diet seriously. Being the kid who could eat a million chocolate bars and not gain a single pound. But over the summer I decided to really put some effort into my diet.
I put together a solid diet plan and started in september. So far I’ve gained 20lbs since the beginning of September and all my lifts, isolation and compound, have gone up in numbers. :) Buuuuut now, I’ve kind hit a wall, I’ve been stuck at around 180lbs for a couple weeks. I’m finding it hard to keep up with the eating and always making sure I get all my meals in.
With the decision to bulk up over the next six months or so, came the idea of actually going on stage and competing. I’m pretty nervous, but I’m looking forward to it.
If anyone has any advice they’d like to offer me for maintaining my diet and/or competing for the first time, I would greatly appreciate it :)
